With the sweet aroma of spring in the air, Valdeserra travelled to the shores of Ibiza to soak up the relaxed atmosphere. The pupils of the infant school along with their families have been able to enjoy making some different crafts related to this colourful season. HEADING_TITLE 3-D LICE AND MICE

These days Valdeserra students have had the opportunity of a fascinating experience: watching, from a new three-dimensional view, bacteria placed on a needle, a mouce on an ant head, the inside of an orange mold, a louse in a human hair, or the pollen leaving a flower’s stamen. .

HEADING_TITLE FEAR AND MAGIC INVADE VALDESERRA

We started on Monday at 9:00am with dark music surrounding the senses of the students, leading them to their halls, where they ventured into a world of magic, ghosts, witches ... this was the start of the Humanities Week with the theme "Read and have a wicked time."

The inaugural act of this mysterious week took place with the awards ceremony of the IV ValdeSerra short story competition and also everyone participated in an anonymous exchange of a book.

HEADING_TITLE GETTING IN TOUCH WITH TRADITION AND CULTURE

Today the students of the second cycle of kindergarten went on a field trip to Nijar, a small town that is well known for its craftsmanship. During the visit, the students were able to witness the making of a typical “jarapa” (a rug), which is woven from old strips of cloth.
